727-346-0230The number belongs to Mortgage Investors, they've been calling for a couple of years now, they only refinance VA loans. I called them back and instructed them to remove me from there calling list and I am on the DO NOT CALL LIST
Everyone, don't get too upset about this; its the Ameri-Mortgage Company; they work through the Veteran's Association to help veteran's get the lowest possible mortgage rate during these tough economic times. If you aren't a vet, or there is no one at your home is is or was, THEN you have every right to get upset. I would be; however, we went through the motions December 2009 and are very pleased with having done so. My husband is a veteran and it helped us get through a rough financial patch by refinancing our 5% mortgage and lessening it to 3.5%! You can get money or not...we chose not to, just to reduce our monthly payments. It's been a big help since I just lost my job before the holidays. Not sure how you can get them to stop calling you, but ask the next time they do (nicely) if they think you are a veteran and let them know you are not ask to please stop the annoying phone calls. If you are a vet, then I would take a moment to listen to what they have to offer...you might be surprised it could be of benefit to you and your family! Sincerely, A satisfied customer and veteran
They are calling 2-3 times a day, claiming they are calling for refinancing my VA mortgage loan, which I haven't had on my house in over 15 years and I have asked twice to be removed and told them I am not interested in their offer. They answer the phone with something like "Better VA loans" but I can't remember when I answered the only 2 calls I picked up, how they announced the company, if at all.
Steve,Then, that's all you have to do is let them know this; they are randomly calling numbers to find as many veterans nationwide as possible. It is a GOOD thing they don't know your information when they call--if they did, I'd be more upset than if they didn't!Thank you for being in the military!
They just called us at 7:30am on a Saturday AFTER we've told them 3x already to STOP calling! They are annoying, rude, and interruptive. Not to mention the fact that no one had our new home # when we got our mortgage, so we have no idea how they received our unlisted number.
I have the same experience. I tell them not to call. They stop calling for approximately a month and then call relentlessly. I have filed several complaints with donotcall.gov but nothing has been done.
These people call me at minimum 3 times a day. Blocked them with Mr. Number app from Android Marketplace - works well; still find it annoying to be harrassed this way.
