Here's what we have: A single mother of a two year old son who works as a telemarketer. She used to be on wel-fare and food stamps and live in subsidized housing, but now she makes money. Fact is, she can speak well on the phone, can make her way around a computer and spell phonetically. Here is a job that enables her to pay for her rent, food, utilities, and daycare, plus buy a new pair of shoes every once in a while. She is no longer having to rely on the system, and she is proud of herself. No, she didn't go to college, but at nineteen years of age, she's feeling good about being able to support herself and save a little cash to go back to school next year. Unfortunately, she is greeted with horrible horrible people on the other end of the phone line, and the day care bills are stacking up and the anti-depressants are needing a double dose. Maybe some year the child-support will come through, but her dead-beat baby daddy has to get off drugs and get a job for that to happen. So here she is, trying to do well at the only thing she really knows how to do. And here you are, telling her she is horrible. She is in it for a paycheck. Maybe she doesn't have all the social know-how, and business training to appear as a member of "the business community" which you would see at a bank, however, she is a telemarketer. She is doing the best she can. She is doing what she is told to get a pay check. She is feeding her family and paying her rent. She is staying out of the system.Six months go by and she is tired of hearing "f*** You***, and tired of feeling inadequate. She quits. Drinks heavily. Lives on welfare and goes to the food bank twice a week for food. Now she has lower self-esteem because the one thing she was good had has let her down. She has no hope for the future. At night she lays in bed thinking about the verbal hatred she has encountered. She didn't get the credit card numbers. She didn't get the phone numbers. She just clocked in and did what she could to earn a decent wage. She is sad, yet happy. Tomorrow is the first and her wel-fare money will be coming.

i also just started receiving calls from this number, he started in with his whole speach but i cut him off before he got to anything about credit cards and asked him not to call my number anymore and that i wasn't interested. This was this past saturday and the calls have continued everyday since, and i get at least 3 calls a day from this number, but i don't answer. And, this is all on my cell phone!

I started recieving this call today and its the same scam as two other #'s I have just started recieving: 877-534-5252 and 269-768-2621. Prepaid gas card. They know my info and they will not respect "no and take me off your list" for an answer!

I missed a call on my cell this morning from a number I had never seen before, 727-712-0382. I google every missed call like that just out of curiosity and found this site. When "Angie" called back I let her run through her spiel to see what info they had, my address and last 4 of a current card, and then let her know I knew who she was and what her company actually did. She got extremely upset, even more so when I mentioned turning the call and the number over to the police. I hung up once she started screaming.lovely person to speak with!

THE KEY IS NOT TO GIVE OUT YOUR INFORMATION OVER THE PHONE NO MATTER HOW PUSHY THEY ARE. Today, my lunch was rudely interrupted at 12:04 EST. Very pushy, fast talking telemarketer showing call from Florida at 727-712-0382. Stated she was with "Budget Savers" when I inquired. Said me or my wife had purchased something from them and I replied no and ask my wife and said my wife didn't either. She then changed her story to say it might have been an affiliate. What did we purchase again and she evaded the question by saying the affliated did not share that information with me. Then went on to state she wanted to give me $40 in gas coupons and I said, Good just send them along. I said bye and was hangiing up when she started up again. I said just email me all this and said bye again. I missed the cut off button on my phone and heard her saying, sir, hello sir, hello sir over and over. I got the phone out of my pocket and said no mam, it is good bye. THE ONLY THING THEY HEAR AND UNDERSTAND IS THE SOUND OF YOU HANGING UP YOUR CELL PHONE.

I am getting this call as well at work. When I pick up, there is no one there, when I call back it goes on hold and says stay on the line all agents are busy, you then get a recording that says if you press 1 and enter your number they will stop calling you. I did that and I tried to call back to enter my home phone number but now I get a fast busy. Not sure who they are, but this has been my experience so far.

They have called consistently for the last month...literally everyday, sometimes even twice. Cant something be done about this?
