no one spoke - just hung up. Why can't the FCC stop this spam & spoofing? All they do is add surcharges to my phone bill. Let start sending notices on each call to our senators and congressman, maybe by reading these complaints they won't have the time to spending more tax money and giving themselves insane benefits

Call from this number, caller ID said LibertyAP. I don't answer calls from unknown entities. I also received a call yesterday regarding a car warranty for a car we sold 2 years ago. These folks don't give up. I dont know how they get my phone unless from the car mfr, since I bought it new from a dealer. It may be more likely they got my phone from the state vehicle registration office... these government folks are doing everything can can for a buck... including selling our personal info. Infuriating.

I see by the dates on comments this scam has been busy for years. Years ago I was getting calls as well on a vehicle I purchased. They eventually stopped. Now 6 years later, I get several calls from a very authoritative Male Caller saying he is calling from Liberty Auto Protection Svcs.. The Auto he gave is long gone and the same one from 6 years ago. He acted like it was urgent and even gave a reference number to use when I called back - which , of course I didn't call. The dealership and the bank the of former car have long standing good reputations. We never serviced the car there either. This same Man kept calling for several weeks and it finally stopped. I also got call saying I won a vacation during the same time period as well. The only thing I did do recently was a Realty transaction which got filed with the State. I'm getting typical mail solicitations after this as well. My concern is all the contracts we sign - all have Third Party permission to access the transaction and they do not specify these Third Parties except to say some 'service' their contracts.
