I have not yet gotten the pitch. No answer when I called back. I assume it is a scam with a number set up on VOIP--therefore no real location. Ignore!

I get calls all the time from them. Here is today's at 4:42pmman: This is so-and-so from dealer services calling about your 2008 ford f150. me: yeahhim:I'm in charge of putting through your extended warranty and I just need the current mileage on your vehicle.me:where are you calling from?him: Ford dealer servicesme: your calling from Fordhim: yes ma'amme: and who ordered this extended warrantyhe then explains to me that noone ordered it. my phone number is automatically dialed when the vehicle service warranty on my car is up, according to my vin, and they then offer extended warranty services.me: i don't know the mileage right now and the vehicle isn't herehe proceeds to give me a name and number to call back with a confirmation or review number of some sort that I pretend to write down but actually don't because I have no intention of calling these people back.I also receive several postcards in the mail every week from the same company.5:06 pm today, yes, 24 minutes later, another call comes in from same peopledifferent guy: this is blah blah blah from dealer servicesme: oh yeahhim: i'm calling about your 2008 Jeep compassme: can I get on your list for you people to stop calling me?him: yeah (hangs up)we'll see if that's the end, I doubt it

Have no idead who this was,so i looked it up and found tje comments on this page. Thought I'd add this name so people will know if the call is listed under it

I was just on the phone with some idiot, I say idiot because when trying to sell anything you don't make insults or comments that may offend the buyer. I didn't answer the call, had I seen and known that the caller ID said "HERTAG SVC" I would've known not to waste my time! From other comments I noticed that perhaps its not just Toyota, but every year I get a privacy notice to have them not share my info, this year I didn't regard that letter and then I'm surprised with this dumb call. Advise to anyone, if they seem to have your information then they don't need to "verify" anymore especially with a caller id that has nothing to do with the company they claim to be with.

These people are ruthless, they don't get it. You say no and hang up and they call right back.Next time I see their phone # on my caller ID and I going to blow a whistle as loud as I can in their ears.Stupid annoying people

They call daily, caller ID says "HERTAG SVC".

Get tho call twice per day. Caller id shows LibertyApp. Today was a new record, 3 times in 15 minutes.

They will not quit calling me!!!!!! Sales or something you cant understand them.

Same thing happened to me. A couple of years ago, I left my cell number with the front desk at Mohegan Sun Casino in CT. Soon thereafter, got scam text messages.Next time, I just tell them that I don't have a cell phone, and that the device I have in my hand that looks like an iPhone is, in reality, a teleportation device.
