get daily calls from this number. Can't block it because it's a local area code. If it was 800, or 866, etc., I could block the calls.

I keep receiving calls also, they said some Police charity, when you ask them to repeat it, they wont, but they Do tell you, if you call police in an emergency, yopu will not get help. This is crap, I AM a former police& fire 911 dispatcher, I am a daughter of a police ofc, and Married to a fireman, so I KNOW THIS IS CRAP. Personally I believe you should be able to report and block a number for free, ANY number if this is you personal phone and current on your bill. It IS harrassment, what ever the cause. I believe whole heartedly in charities, and helping others. I do not in these telemarketing schemes, regardless the cause. I reported them to the IL state attorney general, after being Laughed at yet again when I requested they stop calling me, everyday,5-6 times a day. This is where our lawmakers should be aiming the new laws, to help people. Not in tying our hands with restrictions. Once, ok, you say no thank you, but over and over? While they LAUGH saying there is nothing you can do about it. WHY I AUGHTA... BAM! TO THE MOON!!!!

They called this am and instead of ignoring the call, thought I'd answer so I could ask them to take me off their list. HA! First they asked for money for breast cancer research. I said that because I have a brain tumor (true), I give money to the AABT. She didn't give up so THEN I said (ALSO true) that I give money to Planned Parenthood who 'as you know, screens poor women for cervical cancer, and since they're under assault right now, they really need funding.' Just as I was ready to say, 'take me off your list,' the woman HUNG UP ON ME!!!" But I guess, reading these comments, it doesn't matter anyway, as they'd have kept calling. Next time, I'll just answer the phone and hang up on THEM!

I have Direct TV. Two weeks ago I emailed Comcast to see if they had digital cable, internet and phone services in my area. I had to leave my phone number to see if they were in my area (required) for their form. Ever since then, I receive calls from 734-369-9220 (came up on caller id as MICHIGAN) or 734-359-9228 (came up on caller id as OUT OF AREA). They call everyday sometimes twice a day and on Sundays. Last Sunday they called at 9:10pm.

next time ask for their website address, tell them you are sitting next to your computer - if they refuse you know they are lying and report them to your state attorney general. when i keep getting calls from the same people after i have asked them to not call me again - I CUSS THEM OUT!!! WORKS LIKE A CHARM :)
