Scam call from someone claiming to be from the IRS, saying they filed a lawsuit against us. We already paid our taxes and know the IRS has no cause to file against us. This has been on the local news. One woman panicked and gave them credit card information, only to be scammed out of several thousand dollars.

Call came in at 3:41P.M. on February 9, 2026. No spoken message was left. I checked the missed call box that read not in service. I checked the phone and there was a dial tone. I assumed the call was a scam.
