Our veterans have done so much for us. It is a shame that organizations like this exploit the veterans for their own benefit. My donations to help wounded vets goes to the Barry Fixler Foundation. Look them up on the web. Barry underwrites the administration of this small not-for-profit so that 100% of the donations end up in the veteran's hands. I first met Barry a few years ago when my daughter worked on a girl scout project to help Sgt. Eddie Ryan, a local wounded veteran. Barry ran a local campaign to help this same vet, raising over $100,000. Since then he has set up this foundation to help other veterans wounded in Iraq and Afghanistan. He has also written a book, Semper Cool, with all royalties going towards wounded warriors. This is one fund raising organization that is never going to plague you with unwanted calls, but is very deserving of donations.

My caller id says purple Heart with the17572339146. Do not contact option doesn't work. Can't the government do something?

First time I got a call from this number and name: GreenDrop LLC. No message left and for me it means a telemarketer. I don't give any information or donations over the phone. Hope this is the last time they call. I have no intention of answering or giving to who ever or what ever this is about.

They have called me before from 757 233 9146 even though I have asked them not to call back. They hang up when the answering machine starts so you get a blank message. So I called them back wanting to know why they are calling me. Woman hung up. I called back. A different woman hung up. I called back. A different woman answered. I advised her that I shouldn't be getting these calls since I have asked them not to call. She transferred me to another woman who really couldn't help. She wasn't a manager, the manager had left for the day, said it was 5 o'clock (actually wasn't 5 yet). I asked for the manager on duty, she said the manager left. I asked for the manager in charge now she said not available. She wanted my info but I told her I had given it before and requested no more calls but I still get them. She was getting upset, raised her voice a number of times and eventually hung up on me. They are in Chesapeake Va.Best thing - call them back. Keep them on the line. Keep asking them questions. Don't hang up on them, let them hang up on you. They don't like these annoying calls either.

The organization, while probably appreciating cash, is asking for old clothes and stuff. As a charity they're allowed to call even if you (as I) are on the Do Not Call list...at least they use a real non-spoofed phone number!

I just received a call from Greendrop, LLC. What a pain in the rear.

I have now worked here for 6 months - they went fro VA Donor Services to Green Drop Trucking. They are a scam. They pay their workers (outbound callers) about 9.75 an hour. They have 3 call centers that make out going calls. One is in Chesapeake Va, the other is in Maryland and the other is in NJ. The NJ one calls in NJ and surrounding areas - The Chesapeake one calls within 50 miles or so of Chesapeake, va. The Chesapeake office also calls New York Numbers too. The call centers have outbound callers, supervisors, logistics and management. The management team is WAYYYY over paid. They are a for profit charity. They go to other actual charity companies (purple heart, national federation for the blind...etc..) and tells them we will collect donations (not money) under your name and donate a certain percentage to your charity. So they can call you and say "we are calling on behalf of Purple heart" or "National federation of the blind" or whatever other charity agrees to let them use their name.. in the long run... DONT DONATE ANYTHING!!!! TAKE IT TO GOODWILL OR A LOCAL SHELTER!!!

GreenDrop, LLC is a contractor that manages donations in the Northern-Virginia area for the Military Order of the Purple Heart, and probably others across the Nation. They are yet another nuisance-caller that happens to be “exempt” from the Do Not Call list!

Had this number blocked over a year ago because of the non-stop calls - just unblocked the number yesterday because I was at the limit and sure enough received a call at 9:04 AM. Back to the blocked list scumbag for profit only giving 5% of anything collected to the actual charity.

Yes, I got a call from Greendrop, LLC and I picked up and told them to stop calling. I have never done any sort of business with them and never will.
