this call is from a company that sends cards to your home asking for donations for thrift stores , then they call on phone to ask if they can come and pick up what you have gotten out for them.

Received a phone call from (757) 233-9146 as late as 9 pm on weeknight. Have been receiving phone calls from them once a week.
Must be a telemarketer, since there's no way a Virginia company solicits to pick up donations from someone with a NJ phone exchange.
Called landline. Caller ID displayed GREENDROP, LLC. Do not answer any call from number I do not recognize. Caller area code is Virginia. I live in NJ. I will not waste my time with these unsolicited calls.
Caller ID read Virginia Donor. Didn't recognize the number, didn't answer. Caller gave up after four rings.
My caller id shows Greendrop LLC for this number. They have extreme notoriety, because they robo-call on a variety of (757) numbers, including 757-233-9146. Basically what is presented as a charity of one kind or another is a fraud, as they operate for profit, and it doubted that much, if any, of their income is given to any legitimate charity at all. Avoid them, and never give a credit card number over the phone for a donation. Most, if not all, of what you donate over the phone to phony charitable organizations and political related entities will go into the pockets of the organizers. Beware!
Another thinly veneered CRIMINAL CALL purporting to hide behind the DNC charity rules. A commercial firm that is interested in defrauding you from your money, using a CRIMINAL LIE to entice you to donate. Reported to FTC for prosecution. Suggest all other potential victims do likewise

It is a legit PNC Bank phone no. I wrote out a $12000. check and they called to verify and had the last 3 digits of checking acct. on message.
