Purple Heart is a agency in Pa that collects as they say gently used items and clothing. They in turn find some needy family, As I am told by my aunt who has lived here over 70 years.

I had this caller blocked before and had to take it off the list to make room for other numbers and sure enough within a few months I now am getting calls again. They called and within a half hour called back using a second number. I have blocked both. I am checking into getting a call blocking machine that will hold more numbers. Especially with elections coming up...we will be inundated with more calls I am sure.

I agree . I'm upstate NY . Like they're sending a truck here for a bag of clothes .

Called many times and left no msg. I don't know anybody with that area code therefore I didn't pick up the phone. I usually googled and see if many people got the calls from this number. I blocked it

these BOZO'S also called me just as I was getting ready to get in the shower . I am on disability for a spinal problem and any number that I do not recognize isn't answered. I put myself of the PA "do not call list" twice in the past 3 yrs. and it did no good. I don't have anything left to donate so now that I found out who it is , I wont ever bother to answer them. let them deal with my 20 yr old answering machine. how these people get my number is beyond me. there is about 4 other numbers that call all the time and say nothing or leave no message too.

I keep a list of all garbage numbers--The last time they called me was Nov 15th---

Caller ID said Purple Heart. Have less used stuff. No Message. I used to donate to purple heart various used stuff. Can't now and probably would not anyhow. Less used junk to get rid of. Besides have a local salvation army that accepts stuff and they put people to work that couldn't get jobs otherwise. Incompetant, but who cares. Thanks for the information.Will block this number.

Called stated they are a temp agency and have a 6 months contract at Honeywell in York, Pa for me the name on the caller id is Anil Valecha. this is the forth call from a fake temp agency about this Job. the also sent me an email to click on the link to sign up for the contract.

Goodwill is NOT a very good organization. Most of the money they get goes to their own company. I like the local non-profits who pick up-Eggleston Services (who give jobs to the disabled)and Samaritan House.
