I got a call from 757-947-0249. First a lady said both me and my wife need to be there on the call on separate phones and then she transferred to another lady. She said we filled out our details at Monument Ave 10 K and we won a vacation package, or 250$ gift card of 5 star vacay stay, I just had to go for a tour of their Williamsburg Plantation resort tour and pay 75$ refundable credit card. In the end, when they transfer the calls, there was no hold music also, but the lady sounded the same, but coming under different names. At that moment I said i'm not comfortable giving you 75$ over the phone and let me call you back, she would not allow me to write down a number to call back, but I need to use another phone to call right away. I said its fine, I don't need the free gifts, and she really got angry at us and said U CAN SAVE YOUR PRESIOUS MONEY and slammed the phone on us. Now , I'm glad I did not give my credit card details to her, but she still has my phone number, home address, email address, etc.. When her tone changed to anger, I knew it was spam, she tried to talk me into receiving the free gifts and lots of gifts. I politely said no thanks. Please save yourself.

Got two calls April 23, 2015. Female said I had won a drawing I interned at the Home and Garden Show in Fredericksburg, VA in April 2015. She said I won a TV or IPAD or 250 visa gift card. She needed to talk to me ASAP to claim the prize I wanted. Haven't heard anything else.....

A lame ploy to try and trick you into giving out account numbers and personal info with free gifts--nothing new. I used to get a kick out of these scammers blowing themselves up after telling them I wasn't interested before I quit taking unknown calls. You can tell they're not having much luck when they get hostile for you not taking their bait. They use an unbelievable spiel to begin with most of the time, then remove any doubt they're fake getting aggressive with you. What a life scamming must be.

Portfolio Recovery Associates.I missed a call from this number, and they did not leave a message. I found the comments on this site, and got curious so decided to call the number. It said "for English press 1", so I pressed 1 and then a recorded message said "welcome to Portfolio Recovery Associates". I did not get the prize scam everyone else seems to have gotten. Portfolio Recovery is a debt collector.

Because of the large number of time shares in the 757 dialing, you should expect to hear from Wyndham or the like to come for a visit.
