some Indian woman called. I didn't answer the call because I didn't recognize the area code. I called it back and a recorded message came on. It said "the number you are calling from is (xxx-xxx-xxxx)and read my phone number to me. It said if you would like to have this number moved, press 1, if you would like to move another number press 2. I hung up immediately because I did not know what it was and I didn't want it to unactivate my phone number or something. I got a call from the same number a week later. I didn't answer it.

When you try to talk to them they hang up. I have asked them to stop calling and even pressed "2" to be taken off their list. They always say, "This is your final notice." I told them I wish it truely was!

OMg im so tired of this # calling ME!!i tried to be on the NO CALLING LiSt but idk they still call me?i never answer it though and they never leave a message so it cant be 2 important.

I keep getting numerous calls and hang-ups from 757-990-8981.This afternoon, when I dialed 757-990-8981, I got a pre-recorded message from some woman with an Indian accent, which repeated my home phone telephone number and then instructed me to "Press 1 if this is the (phone) number that I want to have transferred." I hung up the telephone...This evening, I was finally able to pick up the phone before they hung up.The pre-recorded message said to press "1" to lower my interest rate."I pressed "1" and after waiting 30 seconds while the call was being rerouted, I was finally connected to a snarly, inarticulate woman who asked me if I wanted to lower my interest rate. When I asked to be removed from their list, she slammed the telephone down.I wasn't able to find out the name of the company that was calling.Even though I am on the Do Not Call Registry, I continue to get these repeated nuisance phone calls from 757-990-8981. I got 3 of these calls just today alone!These people are scum.

Not all there information is accurate. I lease a new car every couple of years, so obviously my warranty is not expired. When they ask you what Make and Model and you tell them, they get angry and slam the phone down.

Not only did the "Warranty Department" call me tonight from (757) 990-8981 (which showed "Sales Department" on Caller ID), when I told the idiot who answered the phone following the prerecorded scam message (after I pushed "1" so I could tell them to stop calling), that I was on donotcall.gov, he began harassing me and told me he was going to call me back the second I hung up. Guess what, he did! He then continued taunting me, told me he was calling from Popeye's chicken (after I asked what company he was calling from) and that he got the number from "yo' momma". I was so angry I was ready to twist off. He also referred to me by by first name and I won't bore you with other details....The other number he called back the second time on was (305)539-3779.PLEASE complain to the FCC and FTC if you get the same treatment. These clowns need to be gone after because this is a clear violation of law.

I just got a call from this number and pressed #1. They were selling loan modifications. I said I was interested but wanted to ensure I was working with a legitimate business. The rep said they represented Echo Loan Inc. in Southern California.I now have a company to sue for violations of the Telephone Onsumer Protection ACt.

These people are really starting to piss me off, I've ased several times for them to stop calling, I've told them I don't have a car so they're wasting their time trying to scam me. The man I spoke to, Mike, was very rude told me he could call as often as he wanted. He got pretty mad though when I called him captain headset, told me I should expect more calls and then hung up. I don't know what to do

I got a call from this number today 05/08/2009 and I missed it--didn't leave message, so I called it back. There was an Indian accented lady recorded that repeated my number and asked if i wanted to have it removed to press one (1) so I did and it then told me that my number was removed from there system and no further calls should come. I think that's all that needs to be done. Hope this helps!

Called today, 5/28 @ 2:40pm. My warranty was running out, and it HAS to be extended prior to a certain mileage...it was my LAST CHANCE!!! and I needed to press 1 to ensure my coverage. I pressed one, and Charles answered the phone. I asked for his company's name, and he hung up on me!!
