I just filed a complaint with the FTC (you all should to--call 877-382-4357)This number is somehow being hijacked by people collecting information to use for identity theft. It's not even legitmate telemarketers (that sounds like an oxymoron, eh?)There's not a lot the FTC can do, apparently. They think that the calls are originating from outside the U.S. (although the people I've spoken to when I press "1" definitely sound American.) Also, since this is a crime syndicate and not a legitmate business, there's little or no chance you can get anything out of them, even IF they were to get caught and IF you could sue them.The best thing I can think of to do is press "1" to speak to a person and then blow a whistle or air horn into your phone when they pick up.Any other ideas on how to exact revenge on these scumbags?

This number, 757-990-8981,was on my caller ID when I returned home. No message left but showed "Sales Dept". I did not bother to call the number as I felt like it was telemarketing or a scam.

I used to get calls from this number saying that my auto warranty was about to expire (I don't own a car). Now I get calls from the same number with a survey about diabetes.I saw in another thread where the common factor was that most of the people getting these calls had recently used Enterprise Car Rental.

They keep calling me trying to sell me an extended warrenty for my car.

I also have been receiving several calls a day different times and sometimes from another number besides this one the same thing when you try and opt out it wouldnt let you and it says exactly the same thing as the above complaints about trying to sell you an extended warranty. the number is 757-990-8981. How do I get these idiots to quit? I have given no information at all. Several times I try and talk with someone and they hang up! SO FED UP!!

Have received 2 phone calls from this number wanting us to extend the warranty on our Lexus because it is about to expire, and we no longer own the Lexus. The person on the phone talks very fast, and says "please hold while I get your file" and immediately puts us on hold. We don't even get a chance to respond, so we just hang up.

Hello all, I am one mad man, I am on the do not call list and it seems as if they don't care but they will. I will answer the call just to find out who they are so that i can report them that is what happon in this case, I got this call form the sales dept. that is what showed on caller id with this #757-990-8981 when i answered a automated voicecame on saying they could lower my interest rate on all my credit cards.If I wanted to talk to a sales rep. press 1 to be taken off call list press 2I pressed 1 to talk to them so i could get some info. and to tell them not to call me again but i wait about 4 mins no one came on line sound like they hung up so i tried to call back and it said that number was disconnected that brought me to where I am now. when i am done here i am going to the police dept.

These jerks will not stop calling me and they call at all times of the day and it's always the same kid,"Antonio". I flipped out on him today, so hopefully it will stop! Jesus, it's getting to be really annoying
