Got a call from 760-705-8888 - the man identified himself as a rep from Verizon Wireless and wanted password....saying my account was past due and the service was going to be disconnected. I sent number to Verizon ...along with Econdida, Ca address.

Have received two calls from this number, both within the past 3 weeks. The call appears to originate from India or the Phillipines, and the caller has an accent, and seems to be reading from a script. Both times the caller alludes that he is representing Microsoft, and that my computer system is compromised and that he needs to get access into my computer to fix it. They ask you to log onto a website, so that they can get remote access and repair the problem. We ended the call at that point. After some investigation, we found out that once you log in, they hold your computer hostage (blank screen) until you provide a credit card number, at which time they will "fix" your computer, having secured their payment, and your credit card information. My parents got a call from the same number a few days ago. The caller said that he could provide a device that would save power, and alluded to be from a hydro company. Suspecting a scam, my father repeatedly challenged him, and the caller said that "If you don't buy it, I'll come over and f--- your wife". They reported the incident to the police.

Just so that I have a clear understanding, someone called my son's 73 year old Grandmother today, and said they were him (used his correct name), and that he was trapped in Mexico, and needed $1250.00. This of course scared his grandmother to death. So is this some would be scammer that somehow got his name from possibly a social media account (which does not have the grandmother's name or number anywhere) or would it be someone that knows him and her?

I got a telephone called from Feedback tec.tk . they said my computer was spelling personal information to the world and i got so angry that i called the office and bbb. and the policed and they said they will look into the called the special unit from the mountied would get there man .soon they well be cought. ... they Feedback tec.tk are really make people mad and anoid to the point of make them burn at the stake....they want allot of money for what??? stupid company 300.00 canadian dollar that a lot of money I could buy 300 loaf of bread...I was happy to got my computer fix at best buy at no cost they are great...\from Winnipeg Canada

I dont know the number. that called my phone 4 times with in seconds!!!!

This person called me at 530am on a Saturday to try and convince me we had viruses, and error messages that were interfering with internet traffic, and if we didn't resolve it we would be shut down within 24 hours. We said we had a Mac and he stumbled for a moment then persisted. He offered to transfer us to a Microsoft engineer unless we had a family member or friend that knew how to fix it??? I was sure this was a scam and did not ask to be transferred.
