I've gotten calls twice from this number...no voicemail and no one answers when I call back! Concerned that this is somebody trying to get info off my phone. Where is this coming from?

They called last night and I didn't answer. Today they called and it was a lady asking for my husband with a slight raspy voice. I told them he wasn't here and may I ask who's speaking and she said "oh" and hung up. I only answered because I get calls for the hubby every other month from employers off of monster.com. This is my cell and not a house phone. We don't use a house phone. I got irritated and freaked out becouse i relized it wasn't a company looking to hire. I was wondering why another woman was calling my phone asking for him and not by his full name. Then I checked here. Scammers are big right now. Now I know!

this call was made to my home and nobody was there.

THEY KEEP CALLING AND THEN HANG UP OR DONT LEAVE A MESSAGE

My daughter has received numerous calls from this number. Previously, she had been scammed for magazine subscriptions. This person called her and asked her if she liked her magazines shes been getting. She says she hasn't gotten any magazines, never ordered any etc. Wasn't going to get taken twice. He said, Are you sure that you haven't gotten any? If I checked with the postal service to see, they wouldn't say any were sent to your house?"She told him again, I didn't order any, don't want any. So it looks like this scam is evolving. Watch it everyone. Don't give out any bank account information. I did the reverse look up and found that it's a land line and the phone company is Integra Telecom of MN. I called them. They couldn't do anything for me. Said to use the *57 function and trace the call. If you get more than three, then law enforcement will look into it. Also said to block the number from your phone, as people have indicated in their comments.

I reported five days ago about receiving harrasing phone calls from this nuber and when they asked for my name I asked who was calling and thery hung up. Stupid me was so busy that when 763-225-8288 called again I answered without looking at the number and again they asked for me and again I asked who was calling, this time they said it was about magazine subscriptions and they were apologizing I had not been getting them. I said I did not know I had ordered any. He then said, is your address "blah" where I had just moved from and even said I had used a Visa card, which is the only one I had so I thought they were legit. The guy then says he was going to credit my account and update my info so I gave him my new addy.. *dumb* He then said he was transferring me to a manager, I asked for his name because he wanted me to put in a good word for him, he said "Tom" after a pause. Then another guy started reading off my age, addy, and even the experition date for my card. He then asked for my card number to verfiy. I told him I had not ordered anything and he hung up......SHADY! Who do I call to report these people!!

My daughter said the guy said his name was Eric.I told her next time they call to get the name of the company, and a return phone call. Then tell them she is going to turn them in to the attorney general of the state we live in.

I have been getting calls from this number for days. reverse phone search lists them in mineapolis minnesota, i have no idea who they are but it says a landline and they have hung up on me after asking for me by name. i left them a nasty message upon calling the number back and also added my phone number to donotcall.gov, i also filed a complaint and they are being investigated

The people of this number called me 10-20 times in a week. The first few i picked up had no noise from the caller. However, the last one they finally said something. This unknown company said that they wanted information on my checking account ( because of some magazine payments ). The strange thing is that they never told me the name of the company, never gave me the phone number for the costumer help line, never told me the magazines that I had to pay, and tried to guess my name when I did not give it to them. I literally told them if they were commtting "FRAUD" they hanged up right after. No worries, I did not give them any personal information. It's sad how malicious people use phones to take advantage of peoples' good nature.
