They called me and knew my name and old address. They said the call is in regards to a magazine subscription. I told them I don't want a magazine subscription. He said, "This is nothing new, sir, this is the same subscription you've had". I told him I don't have a magazine subscription and he said, "Yes you do, sir, don't lie to me". And I hung up on the prick.
this number has called me all week, I told them I was not available and asked if I could take a message, and they asked if the person they were calling for (me) was 18 and I said why did they want to know and she said oh well, I take it from that, she isn't 18 so she doesn't qualify, so owell bye!" and she hung up, she sounded like a freaking little kid. So they may not be calling me back. I try calling it back and it does not answer back, just keeps ringing.
This number seems to be associated with an internet scam. I was on line and saw that I supposedly won a thousand dollar gift certificate if I answered a few survey questions. When I saw where it was going I logged off. The next day I got a call from the above number. The man asked me more questionsabout some so-called magazine company and tried to get me to give him my debit card number. Beware. It sounds like someone who is trying to set up identity theft.
This 1-763-8288 number has called and asked me about magazine subscriptions (which i do not have any)... This lady knew my name, address and phone number (obviously). She talked as if she was in a hurry and was up to no good. She never anwered any of my questions and as soon as I said, "Look I dont have any magazine subscpritions" she rudely said "HAVE A NICE DAY" and hung up on me.
I did not pickup. It took me until now to know what the scam is with these telemarketers. I missed another call yesterday at 140 from another telemarketer that is closer to me. I wish they would Call back soon to can make plans.
I'm not liking the fact that I said "yeah who's this?" when the stupid little chick said my name....I'll be on the lookout to make sure nothing odd starts popping up.

This number comes up as a match to my name on Microsoft search results, and with a different age than MY true age. There is no other ME who has the same first, middle and last name spelled like this that I EVER came across. It's definitely a scam!
