Called back and got an answering machine, said that nobody was available and to try back later.
ok, some one told me for signing up on a web sight I won a free $1000.. for a online shopping spring ?? then disconnected after saying theres no catch??? wth I think I was played hahaha they havent called back but lol just out of spite Ive called them back and annoyed them just lett the phone ring off the hook till they get annoyed Im a kid it summer I have nothing to do and no one to talk to on the phone but w.e Ill chat on aim while I [***] who Evers on the other end :D this is for all of you ! whos had bad calls from this #
It started yesterday at 2:30PM, I recieved a call from this number but unfortunately since my phone was on silent mode, I didn't pick up. They called later at 7:04PM. Then when I was at work somebody kept calling from an unavailable number at 1:58PM , then 3:03PM and now 7:09PM. I don't recall ever using my number for anything online, except for this one time I placed an order for Dominos. Stupid effers are annoying. They stay on the line for about 10 seconds or so and then hang up. Is there no way to report them?
I missed a call from this number yesterday. I called it back and got no answer. After hanging up, they immediately called back. A woman said she was with a company which I didn't recognize and told me I'd won a $1000 shopping spree for participating in something online and being a preferred member, and said they needed to verify my identity by asking a few questions. She asked me how old I was. In response, I asked her who she was with again and...she hung up. Clearly trying to harvest personal information. It's best to ignore/block this call.
I too received a call today at 21:321 pm est So I answered it and the guy on the other end knew my name but refused to tell me in a very rude manner who he was with. he just kept saying is this (ME) I said who is this he said I guess your not (ME) I said guess not and hung up!!! Beware it is some kind of scam!
Have any of you done a survey perhaps for a year supply of diapers?? cause I did several days ago and I just started recieving these calls from this number. When I answered, the guy introduced himself by saying "Hello, Mrs. .....? My name is Marcus and I am calling from... (then he obviously mumbled something)..member center, I was like.. I'm sorry what center? and he hung up on me. I called back and it just rang and rang and rang. Got no voice mail. I have a feelling they are phising for new identities from babies.. seeing how they asked the other lady who commented on here earlier if her child was one.
