I ordered a package and it was sent to the wrong address. This number called me after I filled a claim. Somehow this company hijacks ups customer information of they sell your information off either way this isn't ups themselves.
The call I received was legitimately from UPS. He was a supervisor that was following up on a screwed up delivery I complained about. Yes, there are all kinds of nefarious minded people out there that show up as legit phone numbers on caller ID. So just because some people have been burned by their own lack of common sense or ignorance doesn't mean a number isn't legitimate. I was expecting a call and so I knew it was UPS. By the way, They did a stellar job on handling the bad situation and following up.
I am a UPS outside fleet manager. This person asked me what our business does??? Hmm ... work on YOUR fleet. It is a SCAM Chris; are you involved?

I am a UPS outside fleet manager. This person called stating he is working with my local fleet manager then asked me what our business does??? Hmm ... work on YOUR fleet. It is a SCAM. He would have known I was the Fleet Manager for this area.
Missed call, no message. Since I do have an open investigation into a UPS missing package, I called back. Message: "You have reached a non-working number at UPS. Please call UPS Customer Service at 800..."
I received a legitimate call from this number today and it is UPS. I reported a missing package to a vendor and UPS called me back and left the correct RMA number, etc. so it's a legit number.
I got a call from the same number, It says GA, USA with the number. They left a message saying they were from UPS and that they had received a call from the sender stating the package had been lost. This is a total lie, any time we order any thing my husband uses his phone number and email. No idea how they got my cell number, But I do know I never gave it to any one.
This is a call center trying to determine if there are any UPS services they can sell to you.People here are saying this is not a scam but it IS an unwanted phone solicitation. What's the difference? No solicitors means No solicitors! Our Do Not Call Registry is in the same boat as our countries infrastructures. You know, the same infrastructures that were going to be rebuilt if America elected that half-black guy again?
