I received 2 calls from this number, and in my case it was genuinely UPS - they were calling to assist me in settling a claim for a damaged package.

It is legit UPS. They called me asking about product weights for some things we ship. I didn't ask why, but I assume to verify cost on a shipment that was no longer in their possession. But he did not ask any personal information of myself or the company. No harm on this call.

This is a legitimate business call. I kept getting voice messages from an"anglo" type caller. English was good but her voice was so nasal and she spoke so softly (Construction hammering in the background...) I could not understand her. Called the 866-252-1165 extension 0698 I found here. A UPS agent was able to identify my account AND the caller!!! Sent an email to her instructing her never to call again.

My experience: I was called by this number regarding a package which UPS lost. She knew the tracking number, my address and the shipper's name, and asked no information from me. The purpose of the call was to let me know that the trace on the lost package came up with nothing, that the shipper has filed an insurance claim, and that I should contact the shipper to receive a replacement item. Nothing more. In my case, totally legit. Of course, nothing is stopping scammers from spoofing this number and phishing for information.

I believe this is a legitimateUPS number. I had a package from Sephora that said it was delivered to my home, however it has yet to turn up. I called Sephora yesterday to have a replacement order sent and today I received a voicemail from this number. I always check this website first to see if I need waste my time listening to the voicemail. Considering the previous events I thought I'd give the voicemail a listen. The caller said they were with UPS and gave me full details of my order including order date, delivery date, date and time of my call to Sephora, item descriptions, individual item costs, and total order cost. They want me to call them back to discuss the 'issue' I had with this order as the driver stated it was left on my door step. They're likely doing investigation work to see how they can improve their process and likely if a driver received multiple complaints they could launch an investigation around them as well. Considering the amount of detail, I would say this is a legitimate UPS number.

Its a hoax, they called asking about a claim we never made. We were busy I asked to call back and she said thy could not. I contacted UPS and they said that number is not part of their system.

This call was legit. UPS was conducting an investigation because I had a package which said it was delivered to me, but I never received it.
