it's not a scam.. call ups and they will verify

it is genuinely a ups rep. you can verify with ups by calling their 1800 number

This was UPS. They lost a package and they were calling with updated info regarding that. They never asked for anything personal from me. This call was legit.

It actually is UPS, I just called them for technical support and he had to call me back because I didn't know the phone number on our account. when he called me back this was the number that showed up. He didn't try to sell me anything, just helped me authenticate UPS Worldship software which we use to ship items with our corporate account.

I just called UPS' 800 number (1-800-PICK-UPS), and gave them this number because they called our client yesterday telling them their package was lost. I was surprised that they contacted the receiver rather than the us, the shippers, to inform them as I was the one who had been contacting UPS regarding this shipment and UPS VERIFIED THIS IS NOT A LEGIT UPS NUMBER!!!!! IT'S 100% A SCAM! When you call it, it sounds like it's really UPS but I assure you, IT'S NOT UPS!!! Don't give them any personal information or any information on your shipment! SCAM SCAM SCAM!!!!!!!!!!

Called claiming to be from UPS. Spoke very poor English with a strong hispanic accent. The message was nonsensical as he claimed to be calling about UPS wanting to do an inspection of a damaged package which he claimed had just been delivered to me. He quoted a tracking number & asked me to call them with the package & tracking number present so they could "arrange inspection of this package". This makes no sense as I had not complained about any damaged package, and he claimed it was already delivered. Looks like a phishing scam to get more information from me, but looks like a scam working together with folks INSIDE UPS because they know from which company I order a lot of things.

I got a call from this number by Wilder saying he was from UPS and wanted to ask me some questions to see where he could save us some money. I was busy so I asked him to call back, which he said he'd be happy to, and then I turned to this site. I read all the reviews, so when he called back this morning, I decided to roll with it and just not give any personal info to see where it went. He had knowledge of our shipping frequency and said we could save a bunch of money by moving to UPS Smart Pick Up since we don't ship every day. I thanked him and said I'd talk to my boss and call him back, and he gave me a 1-800 number (1-866-252-1165 x 0313). I also decided to give him my work email address (which is publicly available and not linked to our UPS account) because he said he'd send me an email with shipping options, and I wanted to see what that looked like. The email looked questionable... it looked like shipping options were copied and pasted right from UPS's website, and his signature was a bit odd, although his email address looked OK. It's entirely possible this is an off-shore sales division like someone else mentioned in these reviews, although it's hard to tell since phone numbers can be so easily spoofed. I contacted UPS Customer Service directly to make the change, because looking into it more on my own, he was right that we could save a lot of money switching our pick up options. I don't know if this number is legit or not, or if this particular caller was at least, but it's sketchy enough to be very careful. If you have any doubt at all, it's better to be safe than sorry! Hang up and call the company directly to make any changes to your account!

770-557-3001 Stephanie from UPS called and said that she was calling about a lost package from Kohl's. Right away I new it was BS cuz i didn't order anything from Kohls. Then she went on to tell me that there was 2 pairs of some special socks. So my question is....if this is legit, how the hell would she know what is in the package? Did she open it? THIS IS BULLSH!T Do not answer these phuckers
