In this day and age when people are struggling and telemarketing may be the only job they can get, being polite when dismissing them is important. How you treat others is a direct reflection of you and your integrity...and if that doesn't bother you, it should.
Just called this company. Sentry was nice. The receptionist/switchboard answered. They were nice and said they were switching me to someone who could help me. A nice young man asked me my number. I gave it to him, then HE SAID my company name without me telling him anything and that I was taken off as of today. BE NICE FIRST. PEOPLE HAVE A JOB. If I never called a businesses for prospective business, I would be very poor.
So your suggestion is to be nice to crooks and pests because they need to make a living too?FAIL
