How stupid can a business be? Called and asked for the owner I ask who they were and what they wanted they said they could only talk with the owner. I said that was real professional way to start a call by being rude with someone they do not even know. I said I was the owner and he started telling me about a security camera they would set up for me to help control theif. I told him this was a cattle ranch of several thousand acres and did not see how this could work with a ranch but he kept saying it is on sale at holiday speecial price of only $23,000 for the 6 cameras. I said so you are going to put these in trees or on fence post he oh no they have to be used indoors. I ask him if he had heard anything I said? This is a cattle ranch of several thousand acres that he was nuttier than squirrel [***] and we will keep doing what we have been doing for the last 100 years or so just brand our cattle and let the Texas Rangers hang the theives.

This company continues to call 3 or 4 times a day everyday. They only want to speak to the owner, I have told them she is offsite and I am her business manager that they would need to leave a message. The just hang up. This is very annoying when you are trying to operate a business. I understand telemarketing, what I don't understand is why they don't just leave a message. If they are on an outbound calling system, can't they just note the system so we don't get called so many times in one day?

All of the highly trained office managers and business managers who are in place to SHEILD our employers from solicitation calls... are NOT allowed to "do their jobs"? I am SO glad I read your post!
