No one is against someone 'working'- it's the tactics they use. If they were ligitimate, they would conduct themselves in a professional manner. Examples would be: caller ID would show a legitimate company number & name, the person calling would explain their business & what they are selling, they wouldn't insist on talking to the President of a company (never going to happen) then hang up on people.If people cannot do those 2 simple things, they are not worth taking the time to speak to. PERIOD! If they cannot do those simple things, then it's a sham & people will get pissed.

Don't need these folks cold calling us....

They constantly call asking for the owner. Will not leave messages or why they are calling. They have even lied in their response to us by saying that they had a meeting arranged with the owner, and needed another phone number to contact him. Very sneaky, deceptive, which leads me to believe they are democrats :))

Need to block this number

Calls day after day asking for one or both of the owners, won't leave a message or talk to the person answering. Sentry Surveillance comes up, so it is probably a telemarketer.

We don't want telemarketer phone calls

These people must call three times a day for the past few days - now I just pick up the phone and say "they aren't here" and hang up. Don't they realize if we wanted their svc we would call them??

Your sweet and endearing comment fails to take into account the training of these scumbags. Yep, I said it: scumbags. You can try to be polite, but you will be met with escalating levels of bullying, pressuring, and frequently angry ranting as you try to extricate yourself from the call.Bottom line: yeah, try "polite" and "nice" for the first 15 seconds, then treat them according to their response. My bet is that you'll end up dropping the whole "polite" concept if you really want to get rid of these callers.That is a reflection on THEM, and it doesn't bother me in the slightest.

S.S.I. has called twice this morning looking for the owner. I explained that the owner works off site and she would have to leave a message. She of course declined to leave a message. When the second call came in I said the same thing and told her that if they don't want to leave a message don't call again.
