Called me on my cell phone I did not get it in time. Tried to call back but a message said the Verizion customer was not available. I know now what the number is from the posts on this site. No now not to answer the call.
Received call on my cell phone. When I said I was on the DO NOT CALL list - they hung up. I have traced the number to a landline phone in the Atlanta Metro area.
The number 770-687-9794 is not a real number on the caller ID. The outfit that calls wants to lower your credit card rate! All they want is your card #. This is a scam. Call your AG in the state you live in and inform then of the calls. If you ask them who they are and where they are calling from, they hang up. Remember card company will not call blind , only con-artists
I'm on both state and fed. no call. These jerks keep calling. Caller ID says "Georgia."WHY do THEY have more rights than we do? They are violating our privacy, breaking the law, and costing us money, and yet they have more privacy rights than we do? Shouldn't we be entitled to ANY and ALL information on these callers? Even if it's a bogus number, we should be able to have that information from their phone provider.Is this what we've come to, where the criminals have more rights to privacy than the victims?
I just received a call from that number about 10 minutes ago. I tried to call back but got the Verizon recording. It is so great that there are sites like these. It is also very sad that we have to have them.
I received a call today also....no message. Why can't Verizon or whoever their phone company is stop this scam. A nuisance.
