How do you block your cell number?

received 2 separate calls from this # on my cell. Jan 29 at 10.25 am and Jan 28 at 10.25 amno messages left...I have no incentive to call back

It is from an outsource company thatCharter Communications uses out of Merrimac Illinoiscall 1 (888) 438-2427 this is the number to Charter Communications customer service ask them to put you on a no call list

On the newer model smartphones there is a feature where you can either add the caller to your phone book or block this caller....I have an iPhone 5 and it has this feature....so far, so good....no return calls are allowed as long as I keep it blocked

Exactly...it has never worked for me either. About the only way is to have software that does it for you...then again, not always available....don't you think someone in silicon valley would'a marketed this idea already?

they move around faster than they can be found...also with unlimited long distance around the world, Pakistan and India don't have any rules...unless your Uncle Albert happens to be the village cow -_-

There's actually a step quicker....go to your recent call list...hit the ? mark symbol and it gives you options to add, delete or BLOCK....hit block...it works for my iPhone

What's the difference in "pre-selected" and "selected"?Are you in the loop already if you're pre-selected and then make the final cut to get to the selection process?There are some English grammar terms that make my head hurt...

Good advice....I work for myself so I need to be able to take calls even if I don't recognize them...new clients, etc.Another idea....I've only done this a few times, but if someone persists calling after I've kindly asked them not to call...and I'm not buying, I'll give them a warning I have a coaches whistle and "I'll blast your eardrums on the next call".Works every time.Only had to do it once a few years back and felt a bit guilty knowing it would hurt like hell....but I did warn them -_-
