"Got a call from this number, said "hello" but, got no response. All I had was dead air.
These [***] are from the CBV Collections agency in Vancouver, BC. The other number they use is 604-687-4559. In my case, they are looking for someone who used to have our number, and despite NUMEROUS return calls at my expense(one in which I gave them a CORRECT number for their victim), they keep calling me. I am saving up the calls to procecute these losers. Don't fight them, just sue 'em. Good luck.
I'm having the exact same problems. DESPITE the fact I have given them my email address, they won't use it.
This person is female half chinese-vietnamese ,try to do something Scam ,she want our day-of-birth information. Said from Vancouver actually she living in Calgary,Alberta which is Calling from Voip using internet.
This is CVB Collection Agency, the 778-329-0347 number disconnects automatically but you can get them at the 604-687-4559 number. They said their name is Matt and can get aggressive on the phone. Doesn't seem to matter that they have the wrong person, as soon as you answer they just keep calling back. Reported them to Phonebusters.com and RECOL.ca as a online Scam but really think they are a collection agency, but they sure act like scammers....
Have received numerous calls from this number. Most of the time, it goes to voicemail, and sits on some type of music hold. Someone then comes on he line and said "Hello"... then hangs up.I called CBV calgary branch, and they gave me a toll free 1-866-333-4559 number that reaches vancouver branch. Don't call the 604 or the 778 back, you'll incurr long distance charges.I have no outstanding debt... and it's going to be a fight to get them to stop calling me.. I can just see it.
