I just add them as a contact on my cell phone, then I give the silent ring tone, and no vibration. Works for me.

I receive a call from that number every two days on my cell phone. They always call while I'm on my job (and I can't answer my phone). I also received a lot (like 7 calls a day) from a unknown number. When I answer that number it's a recorded message who ask me to stay on line. Twice I tried to wait but after several minutes I hang up cause I don't want to waste my cell phones minutes on that crap.

If you keep getting phone calls from any collection agency, and the calls are not for you or anyone in your home, tell them that the calls are now harassment, and if they continue calling you will contact Consumer Affairs and lay a harassment complaint. In the United States, threaten to call FCC. In the States they can be fined up to $500 per call, not sure what if any penalties there are in Canada. They called me up to 10-12 times a day for some person, even after being told I did not know him. After threatening to call Consumer Affairs, they called back from a different #. I told them I didn't care what # they used, that one more call from any # and I would report them. I haven't had a call in two and a half months.

The call is from this number but they ask to call to 1 866 470 6331. They call EVERY DAY, once or twice a day. It is not just annoying, it is disturbing, harrassing and upappropriate. I would like to file a complaint and will do whatever requsted to stop these calls and to put this company on a black list for everybody. Thank you for your help.

Message to call 1-800-835-7094 for "important personal business". I have no outstanding debts or loans and absolutely no reason to discuss "important personal business" with anonymous callers. Bogus. How much does Telus make to sell blocks of untraceable numbers to scammers?
