how can we go about and block this person or is there a number we can call that is not long distance and see why they keep phoning?

These people!!! UGH!! They call our office relentlessly. I just got a different debt collection agency to stop calling about a month ago, now here we go with these ones. Both agencies are looking for the same individual -- Shawn McNally. SHAWN! Why have you done this to us? What did we ever do to you? Who are you? Can you please stop racking up debt and giving them our number? Please? I'm a receptionist, but I'm not YOUR receptionist, you crazy guy!

calls house all the time. annoying. im glad my girlfriends not cheating on me. i though the phone call and busy tone was a guy so i googled the number and found your posts. thanks

If you have Shaw you might want to call them about this rather than calling for them to block the number, they likely gave them your number - and all the personal info they have on you. They are debt collectors and Shaw Cable is one of their clients. I moved and sent my cable box in through UPS after I cancelled my service and although I wrote down my new address inside the box so they could send me the final bill (which is ONE cable bill, hardly something I'm dodging) I never received it so it slipped my mind. So they sent it to these jokers. Never using SHAW CABLE again. Can't believe they didn't just call me in the first place, my number didn't change. Again. this is SHAW CABLE hiring metropolitan credit to mess with you (although they likely have many other shady clients, it's important that Shaw gets its due for this crap).

hey they called me too the person in question is dead and i now have his no ,lol,lol,lol you see i knew him im just letting them nag me and mabey they will get out of hand and bingo im not an unreasonalbull person , by no meens but when you tell them they have the wrong person you meen theve got the wrong person . im not responsable for telling them anything else

send them a cease and desist letter. they cant keep calling you afterwards if you do this.

yes a collection agency, yes you should just call your phone provider and get #blocked, besides even if you have some debt if it is a real debt you would be contacted by other means, or it would have shown on a credit report.these guys are last ditch efforts for small debts under $100.00 usually something like an old cell phone or old cable T.V bill. I don't have any debts either and if I do and don't know about it, by law they cant touch your credit for under a $100.00 they cannot do nothing to you, don't sweat it just get it blocked.annoying little peeons1-780-409-3035

Apparently, they started annoying people in Ontario too. I receive phone calls from their number in Markham, ON and today I received the first from this number in Alberta. Not looking forward to the next six months of torture from these huys!
