Just got a call from this number @ 4:07pm ET to my cell today. It said "Congratulations you have just won 100,000 Air miles!" press one to continue. I'm not one to refuse a prize, so I pressed one. I was immediately put on hold. Now I've won some contests in the past. They NEVER put you on hold... and it's always a live person that contacts you.It sounded fishy so I did a search on the 780 area code and this site came up. Very handy.

they called my cell,saying something about "air miles" ask me to press #1 and nothing but the music came.Disconected after 10 sec.Checked from land line, # not in service.Scam for sure.

I just got the call for 100K airmiles on my work phone @ 1:27pmI just left the line open while I started googling the number and it disconnected after a few seconds. Scam written all over this.

I received this call this morning, July 16th at 11:16 a.m on my home phone. I answered the call and it said I had received 100,000 Air Miles and to press 1 to accept. I did this and then it said to hold. Music played in the background. I waited for a time then got concerned when no one answered. I then hung up. Is it possible for them to get personal information through the phone line without you giving anything to them? Concerned.

I answered it because i was expecting a call from the 780 area code.. the recording said "this is to inform you that you have won 100,000 airmiles..." and thats when I hung up...

This is a fraud dialer - it appears to be a known scam for Air Miles / Aeroplan miles. Do not press 1 or provide them with any information. Accepting will tag your phone number as a live account by their dialler which means you'll get nailed with more of these. I have filed a fraud report with Air Miles and am considering doing so with the police as well.

Called my cellphone, Toronto @ 5:15pm Eastern. Did not pick up call. No Message left.

This number called me too!! No message!! How do I block it!
