Android call settings allow you to block all unknown numbers, not sure if that's restricted or numbers that aren't in your contacts but thought I'd let people know
Said they was the IRS said I was going to be arrested don't owe the IRS so know it's a scam
Called looking for our office manager - informed she was not here today but will be back Monday. She then asked to speak to somebody else re: computers and software. It was a woman on the other end who spoke with a heavy accent and it was hard to understand what she was saying
Called me an hour ago and right after I rejected the call I got a call from another number they use. It's a government grant scam, right now I'm waiting for them to call back so I can mess with them and waste their time lol
They called me this morning and the lady (in a very heavy Indian accent) complimented me on asking how she was, stating that I was the first person today to ask her that, and that she respected me for it. Then she proceeded into her schpeel about free grants and said that all that was required is a high school diploma or GED (in retrospect, I should have said that I have neither, just to hear her response). I finally told her that I am not interested. She asked me what I was not interested in, and I said that I was not interested in whatever she had to offer. She then continued to ask what it was I was not interested in, whereafter I stated that I was not interested in receiving calls from a number to which I did not give my number. She then said, "f**k off". I said, "Excuse me?" She then repeated it again. I told her that that's not a very nice way to talk to a person and that I had done nothing to her to deserve to be spoken to that way. She then asked if I had heard her and said it again. She kept saying it again and again. I tried to be courteous, but ultimately, she hung up. I pray for people like her who do this for whatever their reasons are, that they might be able to find legitimate and honest employment in a place where they can be honest and pleasant with other people.
