Being harassed by this number and a multiple of other numbers...The guy keeps calling and saying his name is John. I have told him to lose my number and that I will be calling the Feds along with the BBB. He called me 8 times in a 15 minutes time frame. He has called since then and left messages on my VM, after the number was blocked. He stated that he was in INDIA on the voicemail.. SCAM SCAM SCAM...
I have received multiple calls from this number and other numbers all from the "U.S. Grant Department" calling to tell me that I have been randomly selected to receive a U.S. Grant up to $9000 that I do not have to pay back. Now the first time I was called I told them that no one is ever "randomly selected" to receive a grant it has to be applied for and no one will call you for that. And I know this is a scam please stop calling me. Then every call after was for the same thing. They also call from this number 1-949-447-5906 I get a call everyday sometimes twice a day from this number. I have been on the national do not call list for over 6 months now and they still call. I have added these numbers to my phone carriers block call list today hopefully this will help.
Yeah I just got a call also been getting them a lot lately so I finally answered and I was surprised that he tole me the exact answers to have and also that I had to pay no money what so ever to get the grant and if anyone that I talked to asked me for money or credit card that I could hang up. He had a foreign accent but his supposive advisor sounded American so I didn't go no further I hung up but he called me back like four times now he calls lets it ring once and hangs up!
They are definitely not from this country i have been getting unknown calls since yesterday and calls from this 786 number smh they hung up on me she must have felt the cussing coming
Keep calling for a Brittany (some wench who used my number to sign up for random [***]) I keep telling them they've got the wrong number and are an obvious scam. They keep yelling at me and hanging up. But Won't. Stop. Calling.Also they never leave a message.
Some lady who could barely pronounce my name tells me that I had been chosen by the federal government to receive $9,000 that I would not have to pay back. What is that saying, "if it sounds to good to be true...it is". Right away I said no thank you and hung up and they are still calling.
