On this date Sept 6, 2010 time 6:12 am, Just received a phone call from 800-123-4567 and no one answer. I don't know what is the purpose of this call.
I did a google search for Sunshine promotions and found out the FBI is investigating them for fraud.I have a simple solution for unwanted calls- don't answer the phone in the first place. Just disconnect the call by pressing the phone button and immediately the off button. That way it won't even go to voice mail.
Today I just received a call, did not answer back because the caller ID shows the number with no dash (8001234567) so I assumed it was a spuffed 800.
My 87 year old mother has Alzheimer's dementia; I audit her cell phone weekly and when I did so today, I saw a lengthy call in to her cell phone from this 800 number!! She only knows how to press the redial button on her hand held, so it was no surprise that an equally long call OUT was listed immediately following the one before it from the suspicious number - no telling what has transpired, but I somehow doubt that whomever was on the other end of the line got any satisfaction!

I have been called several times form this number. Some times multiple times in a day it shows up on the caller ID as "Toll Free Call". On 11/22/11 called @ 9:04AM and 1:27PM. Called 11/23/11 9:14AM and 11:40AM. Will report- however I don't think it does any good.
That's a funny number. I did a search and came up with all kinds of different results for the owner. If anyone know who this is, please post here.
