I've received 5 calls already from this number. no messages when it went 2 vm. My number is on Do Not Call Registry...

I've been getting this call but don't awnser it it's a way for peaople to track u down so be carefull

I could hear people in the background as if they were on the phones. The lady tells me she's calling from usa government grant n I've been awarded $975,000. I didn't like that she knew my name. She begun talking and i just hung up. Be careful because they could be recording our voices for whatever other scams they do.

I keep receiving calls from this all day longer when I decided to pick up phone not bare answer me them I try to call them number wasn't recognize this been happening for the past three days as today day -6-12-2017-

Becarefull with this number as previously mentioned this number Indian or weird acent they told me that I got prize for government but they strater asking for personal information I just hang up there is not way government give money as they claim that I was reward for being good citizen bull Cheetos this number.1800-123-0012Day I answered call -6-12-17

Received a call at 10:40 pm from of coarse you can guess, a heavy accented lady who claimed my computer was infected. I promptly stated that she was trying to pull a scam. She denied the accusation and I told her to NOT call back and she was full of s.... . A personal note to all; Be wise to these idiots.

I never pick up calls from numbers I don’t recognize. Sure would like to know the origin of 1-800-1234567.

(1) Don’t answer the phone if you don’t recognize the caller’s number.(2) Screen unknown calls with an answering machine or voice messaging service.(3) If your phone has a “Call Reject” feature, activate it. My cell phone can reject calls by group, by all unknown callers, or by all unknown numbers. I reject all unknown numbers since I have all of my friends, family and contacts in my “Contacts” list.(4) If you can assign ringtones to different contacts, assign special ringtones to your friends, family and contacts. Then change your normal ringer to a silent ringtone. Don’t just lower the volume of the ringer, you must find or create a ringtone that is nearly silent. I used Audacity to create a silent ringtone (generate 30s of silence, export to mp3).One of the problems is that tele-scammers are able to spoof phone numbers. The scammers don’t care about the DNC list. Since the Caller ID phone number we see is faked, there’s no way for us to trace who’s really calling, and reporting a faked number to the DNC is pointless. The current solution is for us to get everyone to use “Call Reject” or use a silent ringtone for any unknown caller. The long term solution is that the telecommunications industry should put a stop to spoofed and faked phone numbers.

I always used to get calls from this 1-800-123-4567 number and a few times when i tried to call them back to see who it was, the call wouldnt go through saying that the toll free number isn't available in my area, so i do think this is a [***] number. . .
