It was DHL calling to say I would be receiving a package that needed a signature. I am expecting a DHL package so this is legit I believe. They even left a message saying a package was on its way and needed someone home to sign for it.
Yes/No. What you need to beware of is if they start asking for personal information. The usual ploy is to ask you to 'confirm' your address. Hey, YOU are delivering the parcel. You tell me. Also beware of any email you may get with delivery information (courier/mail) asking you to click on a link. Not saying you have a problem here, just a gentle reminder on Due Diligence.

Robo call that said they were from DHL and a package would be delivered to me the next business day. They gave a tracking number that is 2 digits too long for DHL and said the package required a signature. They said if I cannot be home, to leave a note with the tracking number and my signature.I have ordered something from Amazon that shipped DHL, but the tracking number provided by Amazon and the tracking number provided by the robo caller were not the same number, and as I said previously, it was too long to be a valid DHL number.In addition, Amazon does not have my phone number, so there is no way DHL could have gotten it. Scam, scam, scam!
Received a message that I had a package from Argentina and they needed delivery info. Caller ID said DHL DCA. I was not expecting any package. I was surprised they had my home number. I ignored it. Sounded bogus.
This turned out to be what seems to be a legit call from DHL. They provided a tracking #, delivery date, internet address (DHL-USA.COM/ODD) & a phone # I could call. I went on line to DHL, put the tracking # in, & got the info of a package I'm expecting & what it contains, from a company in China that I've gotten products from in the past, but never from them with DHL. Until I receive the package, I will still be wary of this call. A few hours later, I got a call on my landline from my own landline #, which I looked up & found to be a "Spoofing" call. Time will tell.
Called the number back. Some woman answered the phone and told me I must have the wrong number

I live in Michigan, got a call and text from this number saying to shelter in place. Said there is an active incident and don’t answer doors unless it’s law enforcement officer. Said we’d receive another message when issue resolved.

From the QUITLINE - can be any state - PA for me - I followed their program to quit smoking and this was a follow up survey - NOT SPAM - The service was helpful and the survey harmless.
Got 2 calls from this number stating that it is a colect call from an inmate. We don' t know anyone who is an inmate anywhere.

My calls were being forwarded to this number and I have no idea how it happened.
They hung up. In the last ten days I've had unauthorized credit card charges and an identity theft related to a Medicare fraud case. I suspect this is related.

Medicredit I believe possibly is scam/fraud calls involving medical insurance, medicare. Courts WILL decide !!
