Quite annoying. It was a legitimate call but the caller ID says Unknown so I didn't pick up. I do have a DHL package coming. I called back to confirm. Half the time these days legitimate calls come up with missing or misleading caller ID data. I don't pick up when I don't recognize the number so I miss the few real calls I get. The whole caller ID system is seriously broken. I complained that their caller ID was incorrect but they didn't care.

Though my Caller ID shows this caller as 'UNAVAILABLE', it is actually an automated message from DHL Express regarding shipments. Courtesy call to notify of delivery date, signature required, leave a note with tracking number etc. Sometimes I get 2 call per shipment: when they received it and scheduled delivery date, and a reminder shortly before delivery date. Not a scam.

Got a call this morning, caller id shows from DHL, left a msg. A courtesy call, I will be receiving a pkg, a tracking nbr, will need to sign for it when they deliver, blah blah. I'm not expecting any package, had not order anything. Seems fishy.Never had a courtesy call like this when I'm expecting a pkg. it doesn't work this way, ever!I say it's a scam!

Legitimate call from DHL, telling me they would deliver a package from Hong Kong the next day, which they did.Note to 800Notes site owner, in the "Call Type" dropdown I wish there was a choice for "legitimate call" or something similar. Most of the entries are for types of calls you don't want to receive, but there is nothing that can be used to indicate that a call was NOT the type you'd probably not wish to receive.

This is DHL's number (I spoke to a customer service person when I called this # back). HOWEVER, when the person called me, it was a scam. How could they call from the same #?? They wanted me to pay duties for a package that I had not even shipped yet.

I received a call this afternoon from this number. This is not a scam. Apparently the seller opened a ticket with DHL because they didn't think we received our goods. It's a courtesy call to confirm that you received the goodies! Great customer service!

First things she ask me if she can have my name. Told her no and your number comes up spam and I hang up.

This is NOT DHL. I have received 9 things from DHL in the last month... and they never called me. They did send a bunch of texts, however, explaining the status of my shipments... even when they couldn't deliver at my address.You would be foolish to believe the false reports here saying that you should give your SSN or social security number. If something needs confirmation, it will be at a customs checkpoint, where you would provide state/country identification like a driver's license or passport.In addition, DHL would actually leave a message... the person who called me did not. If it was DHL, after they leave a message, DO NOT call them back at whatever phone number that they give you. Call DHL's public phone number, and get whatever you need from them.The majority of the people saying this number is legitimate, are getting paid, in one way or another, to lie to you on purpose.Good luck!
