Ok I see a lot of people say it is credit one and a lot of people say it is a scam. Well I was using a website that I know is legit so I added a second card to the account for later purchase google pay popped up and wanted to add it to my google pay app so I did then when I tried to make the purchase it would not go through. Then later I got the call saying they were credit one fraud dept asking for me to call them about a recent transaction. Instead I checked my online account it had 1 attempted $1 charge from google pending and one from the web site I tried to use it on then there were three attempts to charge my card by the web site that I know is a legit site but all were blocked by credit one and said pending $00. The site is a commissary canteen site for sending packages to inmates. They deal with many state prisons and county jails. So it is all still a mystery

Sent text to verify a purchase. Didnt text them back and called Credit One instead. Total scam that they are aware od and trying to track. It must be the scammers posting that the text/calls are legit so people fall for it and actually do get scammed.
