it's just there collections department so it could be anything from overdrawn, to not meeting terms of your overdraft, to visa, to loan payments to them being a horrible bank
Calling day and night.Sometimes they want me to hold for an operator, not likely.Usually they want to talk about a personal banking matter but want personal information to verify my identity. If they don't know who they are calling, why should I talk to them?I've seen a credit counselor and they agreed to a repayment schedule, still they keep calling and adding interest and penalties.
someone called me from this number last night, DIDN'T SPEAK A WORD OF ENGLISH. when i said i wasnt interested in any promo's he got flustered and asked to put me on hold so he could talk to someone. Didn't understand english, and could hardly speak it!!!
CIBCs VANCOUVER OR TORONTO RECOVERY CENTER-THEY COLLECT VISA , PERSONNAL LINES OF CREDIT, LOAN, MORTGAGE, OVERDRAFT AND VISA-STRONGLY RECOMEND TO CALL, CREEDIT COUNSELORS ARE THERE TO HELP-CIBC ROCKS ! THEY ACTUALLY BOTHER TO HELP**BTW ! EVEN IF YOUVE SEEN A CREDIT COUNSELOR AND MADE A REPYMT PROPOSAL : IF CIBC KEEPS ON CALLING IT WAS PROBABLY REJECTED .... CALL THEM !
This. I don't have a CIBC Visa or anything to do with CIBC, yet these [***] somehow phoned me at work. I've only been working for my current employer for 2 weeks, so I don't know how they A) knew my work schedule and B) knew where I was employed, yet the address they supposedly have for me is a place I haven't lived at for 3 yrs. They wanted me to phone them back, but if it's something legit and important, they'll phone ME back.
Indian caller told me he was from CIBC, asked me for my personal information, I refused and looked up the number. After reading this site I figured out it was legit. I called back and spoke to a lovely woman who arranged a 'payment promise' with me. I fell behind on my payment and we figured out a time that was good for me to pay. Thanks CIBC!
