They called at 8:20 in the morning. They left no message. I called the # back. It is Midland Credit Management. They are a debt collector.

Looks like they have a new number again.

Yet another spam call

Gotta wonder how much these clowns spend on new phone numbers!

This number called family members claiming I owed them money. I told them I done owe them anything and that they should provide me proof. they then stated they didn't have to. I told them I waste paying anything without proof of debt. the lady then said they would keep calling my family until I paid. They are scammers as far as im concerned.

Called for a "Deborah Thompson". Told them they have the wrong number. User hung up from phone.

Debt collectors...I told them I was so glad they called as I am so depressed and haven't had anyone to talk to in ages. I asked if they could come over and see me...just for a visit. They kept interrupting me but I WANTED TO TALK. Just screw with them...! They hung up on me and haven't called me back. Oh damn.

So-called Indian guy calling as a Debt collector, looking for a Richard, "Are you Richard, he asked... (I said) I am if that is who you want me to be." After he said he was a debt collector for some company I failed to take note of, he said, I owed $2,000 dollars from Barcley's. I said, I am sure it was much more than that; more like $6,520 to be exact, but I had no intentions of paying this bill; you sure you don't want all of it? He said, well, it could be $5,000 (I could hear in his voice, opportunity). I asked him what address did he have for me on file, but he couldn't give an answer until he got more information from me... likely excuse for phishing. He said, he wanted to settle today, immediately, again I said, I don't have any intentions of paying you this money... anyway, I saw through this little puke's scam, got bored playing with him and said, Sorry, I am not Richard; I'm just f#cking with you, and BTW, you've got the wrong number. Anyway, I know your scam, so go blow off... and I hung up. I am sure he will call back again, soon. (more to come)

Couple calls from this number recently, no messages left. I don't bother answering the hordes of uknown number calls I get, so if they don't leave a message, they're not legit. If they call more than once, on to the blocklist they go.

I only get 30 blocks with TWC (Spectrum), and I think they are all blocking Midland Credit scam numbers! The worst thing is they call very early on the weekends and wake everyone.
