I just got a call from these bottomFeeders trying to collect on a debt that was paid in full back in 1998. They claim that the debt was dated 2009 which is BS as it's never appeared on my credit file.

Nice try slick. He's 100% correct in his statement. Collection activity is removed from your credit file 6 years from the date of last activity. Creditors have 2 years to sue you in court if they fail to do so it's their loss. Collection companies can not sue you unless they have the permission of the creditor and it's under the 2 year mark.

They are not a collection agency either! They are a scam trying to fraud you of your money! It's a fake website

Someone by the name of Armando just called me at work. I said very bluntly I do not appreciate you calling me at work. He didn't like the response and raised his voice at me and said well we need to have this file dealt with. First off, I don't owe anything. He then proceeded to have me transfer him to our accounts payable in order to obtain my employment information. I laughed because I know that is NOT legal. No company is at liberty to release your personal employment information to just anyone who requests it. I'm speaking to my lawyer to figure out what is going on and how to formally file a complaint against these people.

I've been receiving calls from them everyday for about 2 weeks. They always call at the same time which is while I'm at work so I've never spoken to anyone directly, but they always leave a creepy, breathy 5 second voicemail message. I do not have any debt... I missed a bell bill once a few months ago which has been paid off. No idea why they're calling, but the creepy voicemails are a great touch if they're trying to scare me into giving them money.

this called harassing me all the time, when i asked not to call he threatened me to call me every day until i provide the contact number of some one who does not live my address.

I keep getting calls from this number like 3-4 times daily, they wait for my answering machine to come on then hang up, leaving me a hang up voicemail. So annoying. When I called the number back, the rep answering the call was very RUDE and did not want to provide the name of the company. I had to force it out of her. She kept asking for an account number which I don't have.
