this number is shown on a "The Veterans Voice of Indiana" invoice.

Automated call claiming to be from my bank, mentioned that suspicious activity was detected in my credit card account, then asked me to verify my name, last 4 digits of card, and zip code (may have asked more - I hung up at that point and called my bank). My bank confirmed that there had been suspicious activity on my account but said that the call from 800-294-1855 did NOT come from them, so I suspect that it was the credit card thieves themselves trying to get more information (like my zip) to use my card again.

This is real. It was definitely from my bank. I called them and spoke to them. They had questions about 2 transactions on my Visa card that were legitimate and I am glad they're watching out for me. How unusual...
