Thanks for the infor. Chantel~~I was trying to find something recent when I came across your posting. When my boyfriend rec'd the call that he had won, it's funny because his friend that went with him to the Cavs game also got a call that he had won!!!! Very leary~~ you are correct in the ratings from the BBB here in Cleveland.
Got a voice message from Sundance this morning 3/31/11(Mindy x314). Said I would be "thrilled" when I called back. Did some research. I'm not calling them back. My "caller ID" said the call came from 4847540300 which is a land line in Norristown PA
Keep getting calls from Tina at 1-800-309-700 x407 about a vacation i won at a cavs game. She says I entered in April, when I went to a Cavs game in March. Not going to call them back.
A woman call caliming that I won free vacation package to orlando, FL or Las Vegas, NV. She said I was selected from sweepstakes that I entered at Woodfield Mall, Schaumburg, IL for Lexus Car. I entered for these sweepstakes. She asks me if I am at least 21 years old. I say no, I am 20. Then she recommends me to my parents or someone else from family to claim my price. However, she told me that even though, the trip is free, a payment of $600 must be made to cover sales tax! ???? The woman's first name who called me is Evelyn. She left me phone number and extention in order to have someone from my family to claim prize. It is 800-309-7000 ext. 308
I just received a phone call this morning from the same number (ext. 307, who is Nicole) and got a pitch about being in the running for a $50,000 draw and a "free" vacation to either Vegas or Orlando. I spoke to Nicole and told me I should (urgently, for some reason) make an appointment at one of their local offices to pick up my "voucher" and listen to their pitch (which would last about an hour). Supposedly, this covers roundtrip airfare and hotel for 2 nights, but after the research I've done online about it, I belive it's a scam. Just Google "Sundance Vactions" and "scam" together and you'll catch the drift. Nice try, guys.
I just got a call too. ext 302. Joseph. I didn't pick up the phone because they called my CELL PHONE. So, I listened to the message. I did not go to Schaumburg for some Septemberfest. I haven't been to Schaumburg in YEARS. I never enter those drawings either. Plus, if I did enter a drawing, I would NEVER EVER NEVER put my cell phone number on a drawing. Only family members and close friends have my cell phone info. In fact, I am annoyed because I am waiting for my husband to call me, he's flying home from NY. And I ran to the phone. SCAM SCAM SCAM.
We get these scam callers all the time, we just don't answer the phone if we don't know who it is. I think It's a shame that you cant answer your own phone in fear of being harrassed.I relize these people have to make a living as well, but when you say your not intrested that should be it.Why can't they accept No...... Insteat you have to cuss them out..... Have A Nive Day......
Just got a call from a girl who said that I had won a drawing. It sounded like she was calling from a cell phone on a busy street. I cut her off and said she had the wrong person. Blah Blah Blah....... SCAM, I hate these people.
