This is Belk Departmental credit department using Social Security as its name so I answer phone. This is using federal office name for collectors
I have received a call from 800-347-1170, they identified themselves as "GE Money" and wanted me to call them about my Belk card. I called the number and received a recording asking for my Belk card number. I then hung up.
A message left on my voice mail identified the caller as being from GE Money and instructed me to call the 800 number listed above, which I did. I connected with a recording which immediately asked me to give them my Belk credit card number. I then hung up.
A message was left on my cellphone, I was not able to hear the entire message, only got the part about the number to call. Missed calls identified as PRIVATE. I called the 800 number and received the recording to enter my Belk card number...I entered 1234567890123456 then it prompted me to enter the zipcode, I entered 12345. It stated that it could not find my records, and prompted for the number again.. 1452145214521452 then the zipcode, not sure what I entered this time... I was then told to please wait while I am connected to a customer service rep. I told her that I received a message on my cellphone and wasn't sure what it was for... Then she preceeded to tell me that they were looking for somebody by the name of Nancy, I told her she has the wrong number and then hung up...
this number keeps calling on my mobile phone about 4 or 5 times a day about a belk card. i do not have a belk card. i've stopped answering. its boarding on harrassing!
Called me twice today. The first guy hung up on me when I refused to give him information until he told me what the purpose of the call was. Second time was a woman with a raspy voice who said she was from belk. This is a scam, don't give them any information.
They keep calling wanting to speak to my daughter. Also have been getting call a GE money and belk card.
