Didn't answer (never do, if don't know #). Message stated Wws someone named "Mei Ching"; couldn't understand anything else he said + am glad I did not pick up. The 800 phone number is on the back of my BOA credit card-but is an automated voice when you call, as others have stated + you can clearly understand their representatives. Am guessing this is the type of scam others have stated here- where it looks like it is coming from # 800-421-2110, but is not actually coming from that number.

Was having a problem using online banking transfers between in-house accts in April. Reported it to BoAmer. and found they "had gone through an upgrade" which should have corrected the problem. Then got calls from 800-421-2110 and a "Bank of America tech" - he suggested installing Google Chrome; which, he said, should eliminate my problem. Did so; but, after reading some of the other postings here, now wonder if I've compromised my computer. He allso gave a 'direct line number' which the 'tech' said would reach him directly. As much as I dislike to do so, I'll have to report this to Bank of America because when I checked his 'direct line' number, it was listed for Phoenix, AZ. Stupid is as stupid does.... :-(
Did not answer the call. They did not leave a message. I don't have bank of america if that is the scam.
Their line appears to be crossed with ours. We have received numerous calls from Bank of America cardholders thinking they are calling Member services. I called the 1-800-421-2110 number myself to report what was happening and was immediately asked for my card number. No company name given. I called AT&T to report it and was told it was scamming. We are telling the people who continue to call us by mistake that they are being scammed and to not give any information and to call the police immediately.

Read all of the notes above, goes way back from 2011!I never answer unknown calls, or call back! Is a waste of time. They are all bs scams! Got to be smart! Some fall for these scams!
