second time such a number called in early am!!!!

Called Saturday morning about 9am, left a semi unintelligible msg. I don't have an alarm system.

It actually is the monitoring center because this number calls me when my house alarm goes off. As everyone else just said, it's a monitoring company that monitors multiple security company's. Rarely is the installer of the system the same company who monitors it.

Got a call from the Monitoring Center for Vector Security about an alarm. Told them to go ahead and send the police as the person they were calling has been using my phone number illegally for years. Almost identity theft at this point. They said I needed to call customer support to correct the problem because they cannot make changes. I'm not their customer. They were polite but wanted to make it my job to correct this issue.

Absolutely not legit and not an alarm company, Provided wrong business name and wrong business address. Either a bill collector searching random leads or someone looking to steal security password to turn off my alarm and break in.

Called at 1 AM and did not leave a message.

Called and left a few seconds of silence on the voicemail before hanging up. Their real name was blocked from the caller ID as is almost always the case with these nuisance calls. Probably some kind of scam.

It was my mother's alarm company. I know the number is legit because it is the same number prinyed on her alarm keypad. She set it off by mistake. This same companycompany contracts for several local alarm companies apparently.

This is one of the outgoing numbers for multiple alarm-monitoring companies, including Protect America.
