is a scam caller claiming to be from Microsoft wanting to renew my Windows license. I have an old Windows 7 PC (no license renewal required) that was given to me (not registered in my name), which has never been connected to the internet at my house. It has to be a scam because there is no way for Microsoft to link this PC to my name and telephone number.

Someone using this number called, when I answered there seemed to be there cut I said "hello" twice and no one said a thing. I hung up. If it was a collector they would not only answer but keep you on the line for as long as it took.
