Alarm company?s computer warning about low battety in alarm panel ... so its actually legit.

It's Monitronics customer support. They might call to test your alarm system.

EVERY TIME THEY CALL I CAN HEAR MY SECURITY SYSTEM PANEL LISTENING IN ON MY HOME AND OR CONVERSATION. I NEVER ANSWER BECAUSE OF THAT AND TYPICALLY I PICK UP THE PHONE AND HANG UP ON THEM, NO ONE WANTS TO BE BOTHERED WHEN JUST GETTING IN FROM A HARD LONG DAY AT WORK, ESPECIALLY WHEN YOU PAY YOUR BILLS ON TIME.. THEY ARE NO MORE THAN A PEST. THEY CALL 4X A DAY

Why should they test the alarm? I canceled my alarm and others should especially if the person who breaks into your home is shorter than the motion. This company tells me that they are not at fault for the alarm on the window not going off nor the motion and they contract there stuff out. They are only a monitoring system---that fails.But they will take your $30.00 a month and call you every day after you cancel to beg for your service to be turnd back on.

I get a call to my cellphone around the same time every morning. I never answer the phone cause I receive the call while I'm at work. It is annoying.

I received a false message from this number:1-800-447-9239 on my cell phone at 5:48 p.m. on 9-17-08 stating: "This is a return call to notify you that we got your Emergency call and helps is on it's way". Hmmm? I hung up after calling them back to tell them their call was in error once I picked up on something wasn't right with the person who I was speaking to started asking me personal questions about my home. They sounded suspicious to me. I reported it to my cell phone provider. I read up on this number and apparently, they trick you into automatic payment for a service you don't have with them.Also, they said my cell number was actually an acct number they have. No, that isn't true.Beware, do not ANSWER or RETURN any calls to them.

I just cancelled 3 of my stores that had Monotronics. 2 of the stores were broken in to and I NEVER received a call EITHER time. I got taken to the cleaners. Monotronics resonse...They never received a signal, the phone lines must have been down. They are the worst alarm system in the world.
