Some jerk named Sam Phillips keeps calling and telling me he's a collection agent and that I have to pay him for some balance I never heard of. If I don't answer he doesn't leave any message so how exactly is that an "attempt to collect a debt"? When I do answer he keeps asking for someone who doesn't live here and when I tell him he gets rude and hangs up without allowing me to find out more. When I call back he rudely wants to know what number "he called" to reach me. I'd like to kick him somewhere really hard for harrassment and get my boyfriend who's a police officer to straighten him out. If he calls me again I have caller ID and just won't answer.

If I do owe a debt, I will contact the original vendor if I want to pay it off, not the debt collection agency. Do not give them any personal information, better yet, don't call them at all. They are all scum.

the caller from ERC called and left me with a refrence nuber and asked that I call them back with the reference number that they left me I dont have anything in collection so I dont know why they keep calling me

This company represents Sprinit. I am a victim of identity theft. The lady I delt with was great. THey are removing my number and marking the account as fraud. I will be recieving a fraud package in the mail. Shortly.

Received a voicemail earlier this week and just checked it today. I got the femail voice and a reference number as well, but since my voicemail cut part of the message off, I decided to research the 800 number to see who it was and of course I came across this site.

A lady called me, and stated that she was calling about me Spint Account. I told her that I have not had a spint account for years. I told her that I did have an account with them. I further stated to her that when i had an account with them, I called them to upgrade my account, but they told me if I would sign on for another year that they would give me this and that, including a better phone. I was transfered to another operator that told me that I would have to pay for the new phones. I explained to her that I was suppost to get them free for signing on to a better contract. She told me that those are not free phones, and that I would not get them for free. I told her not to upgrade my account if that is the case. She said OK. About two weeks later, I get a notice from Spint telling me that my account has been upgraded. I called Spint. The lady said that it was a mistake. Don't worry about it. I later got a bill for a price reprisenting the new amount. I called them back. They told me that I should have called and cancelled the new account. I explained to the operator that I did call. She stated that there is no record of me calling. I tried to resolve issue over and over only to be insulted over and over. I then decided to get another cellphone server. I now have this collection agency calling demanding that I give them my credit card number. I don't think so. I don't owe Spint. I asked them to send me a bill so i can look it over. She said she would email it to me, never did.

This number keeps calling me everyday. I have no outstanding debt. I'm on the do not call list and I report it every time they call. I tried to block their number with my cell phone company but they said they can't do that

Many calls to my cell phone, most not leaving a reference number, never say my name, so I will not call back. They say they are Enhanced Recovery Corp, but who knows. Never anyting in the mail about a debt. Suspect fraud.
