Thick India-Pakistan type accent, and when asked what the call was about, replied "feedback". They soon hung up.
We got a call from this number today at 10:44 am. The caller ID was DIRECT TV, and it was blocked by our call blocker. Due to numerous such calls, all with area code 800 are blocked. A call blocker is well worth the cost to avoid these nuisances.

I'm retracting my note. Talked to AT&T because today this 800 531 5000 called me today & CID this time said AT&T. I talked to representative & she could not explained the UNAVAILABLE on the prior call but her records verified they indeed called me 12-21-17.She also noted my file indicated NO MARKETING CALLS should be made to me per my request and apologized for the call.There.
Got 12 calls from this number this morning - when I finally decided to pick up and find out what was going on, a man asked for my husband by name and said AT&T was reducing our monthly DirecTV bill because we always pay on time. Then he asked me how much we are paying per month - I said if you were from DirecTV you would already know how much we are paying. Then he hung up. SCAM?
