I was woken up by a call from this number at around 5am this morning. I got to the phone before the machine picked up, but there was nobody there. It came up as "out of area" but I just googled it and found this site, so at least I know who it was from now, though I still have no idea why they called, and at such a ridiculous time.
I used to work there. Its the monitoring station for many different alarm companies. Your # may be on the calling list to be notified about everything from fire alarms to glassbreak detectors to even low battery signals. If it is reaching you and you have no idea if you have an alarm or perhaps its an old cell #. Then call 8006332677 back, they will identify themselves as central station. Let them know you don't have an alarm and that you wish for your number to be removed. We then submit it to our data entry department and they call the alarm owner to verify and the number is then removed.I hope this clears up any confusion, be patient, the people there deal with literally thousands of calls a day.
got this call at 9:30 pm. twice in a row. it came up on caller id as an 800 number and then at 9:43 it came up as unknown name4215
I too got it, but its for an alarm monitoring company. If you dont have an alarm maybe someone listed you as a contact in the event the company is unable to ge a hold of the owners. I know my mother have me listed but didnt know the number.
