This evening a women phoned us claiming to be with BofA and its not a scam that we need to call them back asap as its related to "our" home loan, home equity loan she further stated. These people make me sick and embarrassed to be human. :/

I, too, received a call from 800-643-9034 on Valentines Day 2017 (yesterday) after 4 pm. Don't remember the woman's name, but she also said she was from Bank of America and she asked to verify my name and address. I said "who are you calling and what are you wanting"? She said I can't tell you that until I validate who you are. LOL...I said "well I need to validate WHO YOU ARE" then hung up. Do these "phone stalkers" think every person with a Florida phone number is stupid? (hummm..don't answer that). PLEASE, if you HAVE NOT received a phone call yet---but DO in the future...remember these posts and give them a huge runaround..just for kicks and giggles. How about this (if you see 1- 800-643-9034 on your caller ID answer like this) : "COUNTY SHERIFFS DEPARTMENT, HOW MAY I DIRECT YOUR CALL"?

I just got a call today and I know it is a scam.They sound very demanding and harassing. They require all the confidential info and I know it is scam from the first second I spoke to them.BoA would never harass their customers like this....

I received the call from this number and said that they are from BoA. Told them that I wanted to refinance my credit line and mortgage :). I was transferred to the "refinance" department and talked to a girl name JILL. She asked for my SSN ... after having enough fun with her, I told her that I would call back :) they still have a lot to learn to be real scammers. Boys and girls, if you really want to scam someone, you will not need to beg people for their info, your begging really make it obvious. Pickup a book and learn more.... still, people will still need to be careful with this group...

Well, this number is at it again. Just rec'd a call, which was blocked. I have had that number blocked for awhile after contacting BOA and talking to a real representative. Guess they are recycling their phone numbers Not legit!

This male caller told me he is calling from Bank of America and he asked me to verify my address. I told him I won't tell him. He understood that I was very careful. Before he hung up, he said..oh you are very careful to share your information..Please call this number back and asked for Bank of America home equity department.
