They called and asked for my husband. Said they were from City bank. When I asked them how they had my phone number, they hung up on me.
collections dept from citi...can be their credit card ..sears or goodyear account...they are all citi...calls 5 times a day
This is a phishing attempt to get your Sears card number, last four of your social, and so on, so they can use your card number illegally. They start off with "sorry we couldn't talk to you in person...", which is a flag right there. Then they give you a number that does NOT belong to CitiBank (I asked them). It is not an attempt to collect from you; I know, because my account is fully up to date, just as it says on the real CitiBank web site for Sears cards. The first thing they try to get you to do is give them your credit card number, at the outset of the call. Do NOT do it, they will then ask for the last four of your social. At this point I became suspicious, called CitiBank. CitiBank cancelled the card, and is sending me a new one.
Recently received three (12/30, 1/2, 1/3) recorded messages in Spanish from this number.I have no idea what it is about, since I do not speak Spanish.Pressing various numbers did nothing, unable to speak to a real person.
I do not know why someone from this number has been calling my office over and over again but it needs to stop. I have reported this to the national do not call registry and the phone company.
It is Sears calling regarding their credit card. Trust me on this one. I just answered it and they wanted to talk about payment on their Sears Mastercard.
Keep getting phone calls from this number. Teresa really wants to talk to someone in my household. When I asked what the called was in regards to she restated that her name was Teresa. When I asked again why she was calling she said it was 'business' and she couldn't discuss it with me. I expect I'll get more calls tomorrow. You'd think that if this was a legitimate number from Citi/Sears that the caller ID would say so, instead of Toll Free Call bullcrap.

It is a legit PNC Bank phone no. I wrote out a $12000. check and they called to verify and had the last 3 digits of checking acct. on message.
